November 27, 2023: Mil1, Progress Meeting 1

On November 27, 2023 the Progress meeting 1 within the Milestone 1 was held at UJEP. The event was provided in a hybrid form: altogether 28 persons participated in the event including 22 persons connected virtually.

In the first part of the event the Leader from the each of the participated institutions delivered the short report Illustrated a progress in implementation of Mil1.  In the second part of the event NDP Pidlisnyuk overviewed the state with the overall implementation of the project’s tasks have to be accomplished on the Mil1. She particular pointed the big progress in WP2 achieved by the team from Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk Narional Pedagogical University (TVHNPU) related testing of biochar from the different precursors and biochar dose to the plant’s development and soil properties. Young research from TVHNPU did the input presentations about this research as well. In the followed discussion the difficulties related the supplying of the contaminated biomass was overviewed and some possible ways for resolving were introduced.   

Altogether the following output was received in the reported period:

• 1 manuscript was submitted to IF journal
• 3 reports were delivered at the conferences by the young researchers
• 4 reports were accepted for the presentation at the international conference
• 1 student defended a Master thesis in the project related topic. 

The next Progress meeting 2 within the Milestone 1 is scheduled for January 27, 2023.
